Founder Lauren Pibworth ‘walks the talk’ when she says she understands the needs of speakers and coaches.   She has been a coach and mentor for several virtual assistants and emerging marketers throughout her career – but in the last few years, she has discovered a love for sharing her passion for marketing from the workshop floor.

Described as a ‘fountain of information and a motivational force’ that forces participants to ‘take action today’ – Lauren’s style is upbeat and approachable.   Her desire to help her audiences build that business of their dreams shines through in her two main presentations, “Quacking the Surface” and “Outsourcing – Who What When Why”.

Quacking the Surface

This interactive workshop encompasses goal setting, roleplaying, and group work – Quacking the Surface (based on her book) is an exploration into the meaning of Perception Management and how we deliver on our brand promise.  The concept of “fake it till you make it’ has been around a long time – but this workshop challenges that saying.  The simple idea of “faking it” to Lauren means you are not telling the truth.   To start a business out on a lie is a recipe for failure.  However, to learn to envision your current business as the business you want to build – and then communicate that vision AND live up to the image you have created – that is where business thrives.

Outsourcing – Who What When How

No one succeeds in business alone.  Sooner or later we all need help, but how do we know where to turn, what and how to delegate, who to trust, and at what cost can sometimes feel insurmountable – and for solopreneurs across North America, it can be a source of failure for many businesses.

In Outsourcing, Lauren tackles the tough issues from “No one can do it as well as I can” to “I can’t afford to bring in help” to “I don’t have time to find or train help”  Everyone needs a hand at some point in their business – and the knowledge of where to go to get it, how much it costs,  and how to delegate effectively gives participants the tools they need to grow their business effectively – and by their own terms.
